THE POLITICAL DUNNY

THE POLITICAL DUNNY

‘Why did they build it like that, Mum? There’s plenty of space to put them next to each other.’

‘It’s a joke, darling.’

‘I don’t think it’s funny.’

‘Well, no, it’s not supposed to be funny – it’s a political statement.’

‘What’s that?’

‘Well, the idea that politicians...er...do their business on the voters.’

‘What are politicians and voters?’

‘You’re too young to understand.’

‘Well I think it’s silly. And I need a wee. I’m going to use the top one – it looks like fun.’

‘You’ll be Prime Minister one day!’

............................................................................................

This week's photo prompt is a very strange one from Lisa Fox, posted on Rochelle's blog at  https://rochellewisoff.com/  Someone went to a lot of trouble to air their political views!

Are you in the throes of Christmas shopping, wrapping, & planning? Are your decorations up yet, or do you wait till the last minute? I have got almost all the presents I need to buy - those to my younger son's family in Canada are on their way, and my grandchildren here are going to get what they've asked for, so they'll be happy. Cards are all posted, local ones are waiting to be walked round the houses. Choir practices are all Christmassy now, the village Fair with street closure, mulled wine and mince pies will be this Sunday. In other words, like it or not, it's coming!

.....................................................................................................

AND please allow me to remind you that I have several books on Amazon. All Christmas stockings should contain a book, so why not try one of mine? These are the four books in my LIVING ROCK series, plus Helter-Skelter, a pre-war romance, the sequel to which, Carousel, you can find by following the link above.

  7. Dear Liz,

It takes a child to figure things out doesn't it? Good one.

  12. LOL. Smart kid. I mean, the top one does look more fun on "multiple levels." So much scatological humor waiting in this one.
