    1. Everywhere has its good points, I am sure. This island has its own kind of beauty, even the stark desert landscape that some people don't like appeals to me.

  5. Love all the color! Makes me impatient for spring to arrive. We're having lots of rain and cold, but finally the grass is turning green. And I see a few buds on the trees finally.
