He rushed in the house and tried to get to the fire extinguisher, but to no avail. He was fortunate to escape with his life. All their valuables and keepsakes went up in flames. Since that time, I've often asked myself what I would save if I could only take one item (family members excluded) what would it be--a cherished gun, my favorite guitar, the family bible--and the honest answer is I just don't know. Probably whatever was within arms reach at the time.Russellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02951989303915273807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7872436458316103784.post-82729465403565470252014-10-16T22:48:01.078+01:002014-10-16T22:48:01.078+01:00I'd probably be in the wrong room to grab my B...I'd probably be in the wrong room to grab my Betty, but I like to think I'd try!liz younghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16289501717229347872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7872436458316103784.post-5513921575543249252014-10-16T22:46:54.274+01:002014-10-16T22:46:54.274+01:00A lot og house fires are caused by cigarettes, so ...A lot og house fires are caused by cigarettes, so it could have been Jim's fault.
